Slowly but Surely !

Well 2 days before Valentine's Day and I am just now getting out some Valentine decorations and putting up the last of the winter decor. I was a little sad to take down my "friendly Village" plates, they are the only snow I got to see this year! The red plates look so nice though so I am happy!

Jim saw a Cardiologist yesterday and he thinks a lot of his breathing problem is a Heart valve instead of COPD so in a couple of weeks he will have a heart Cath. to see for sure. I have mixed feeling, it will be wonderful if it is a heart valve problem and can be fixed, where as COPD cannot, but the thought of him having heart surgery is very scary so keep us in your prayers!

  1. YES, Valentines! What a great time to think of love and loved ones. I agree with the valve situation. Yes it can be fixed. Any operation is risky, but it is risky driving to work or the grocery store.
Imma hoping the problem can be cured and you can enjoy the Valentine for many more Februarys to come.

  2. That's such a pretty way to display your plates. Up here in "piney" Maine, I get away with displaying Friendly Village plates all year through. Many of the scenes are spring, summer, and fall ones after all.

Many blessings to you and your husband as his health concerns are addressed. One day at a time...

  3. Praying that your husband's problem can be found and fixed. Love all your Valentines Day decorations. I used to do that, but have lost the drive with age.

  8. I'm definitely keeping Jim in my prayers Elizabeth, scary indeed but I'm sure things will work out. Love your Valentines and the plates are gorgeous! I haven't even started so off to the store I go tomorrow. Life is definitely slowing down here and of course I'm still unpacking, which will take months I'm sure cause I'm not in a hurry. Will e-mail you my new address soon. Hugs, Pearl
