Moved to rehab/hosp.

We moved to a rehab/hospital this week. His recovery continues to be slow and difficult as the Dr. predicted. I continue to stay with him every night and sleep on a cot in his room. The last 2 nights we slept almost through the night. They say he will probably be there 3 weeks. His COPD keeps them from being very agressive in his therapy. He still does not want to eat. I bring dinner in for both us each night and we eat and watch wheel of fortune, like we did every night at home. I will be so happy when he is able to come home.

  1. Aw... it sounds like you are both making great progress, Elizabeth! Keep hanging in there and you'll both be back home before you know it. Still praying... Debra

  3. It is so good that you can sleep in, with the cot. I know it is good for the patient to know you are close. I know you and HE will be happy to be in your OWN home.

    ((HUGS)) and prayers...

  6. Elizabeth, you must be exhausted. Please take care of yourself because if you are not healthy your husband won't be abloe to come home with you.
    You are in my prayers,

  7. It's good to hear that now he is in the rehab. I agree it has to be very tiring for you. Glad you are at least getting some rest. Take care!
