Its cold in N. Florida !

It sure has been cold in N. Florida! I was hoping that we would see a few snow flurries at our house this past weekend but it did not happen here. A few places in the panhandle reported seeing some. The children always love it when we get some and some of us big children also. My hubby came from Michigan so he does not enjoy it like I do but to this native Florida girl, I love it! This morning as I took my Granddaughter to school I passed a lot of frosty lawns and smoke coming from fireplaces. Its a lovely sight to me. I know those in the North who have problems with heavy snow do not like it and I do understand that it can be horrible for some. I pray that you are all safe and warm!

  1. It was frosty here this morning! But I love the sunshine and that warms things up quickly. Enjoy your day sweet friend. Hugs, Diane

  2. Yeah, it is cool here in central Florida as well, but we are headed up. Looking forward to the warm sun here in Eustis.
    Stay warm!

  3. I am one of those northerners who does not like snow. We just got 26 inches and I am stuck at home unable to move my car. Ut looks like I won't be going anywhere for a couple of weeks until it melts enough to get around. I like to look at pictures of snow and chimneys with smoke coming ou of them. But that's about it.

  4. The cold and snow is loved by many but not me. Although I've lived my life here in northern Ohio all my life I never get used to the cold. Nice if you can stay in and keep warm like I do now I'm retired. Hope you warm up soon.

  5. Thanks so much for stopping by!! We missed most of the heavy snow that the east coast got this weekend. We had only about 4-5 inches of snow...

    Hugs,

  6. Hope that you get your taste of snow. I certainly understand where your hubby is coming from. He has seen enough, thank you.

  7. It's been cold here in Arkansas too. We did get a light snow last week. It always looks so bright, clean, and pretty when it snows, but I can understand those who hate to see it coming.
