It was a wonderful long weekend with our boating club and friends at the Henry Ford Museum in Ft. Myers this past weekend. A nice visit with Jim's brother and SIL in Zepherhills on the way home. We finally are having some winter weather in N. Florida. I had to scrape ice off the windshield 2 mornings this week and highs only in the 50's. I am not complaining, I actually like it ! I am enjoying my new electric fireplace and sitting in front of it with a book and cup of hot cocoa. Another of my simple pleasures!
I'll haveto keep that in mind, I did not know that there was a Henry Ford in FT. Myers, my first impression was it sure is nice in Detroit for this time of year! OUCH!
ReplyDeleteGood on you guys!
It looks so nice and sunny there.
ReplyDeleteThat electric fireplace looks warm and inviting. I imagine it doesn't get used much for most of the year. Keep warm!
ReplyDeleteFrom our land of snow and ice, that looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh! How fun to have a taste of winter and the need to sit by the fire and be cozy.
ReplyDeleteMonarch of the Glen is not quite as refined as Downton Abbey, but guess what? Julian Fellowes is one of the characters playing the part of Kilwillie...that's kind of fun to see! Plenty of camp. Some of their escapades make me laugh.
