We had a very nice day yesterday at "Monarch Butterfly Festival" at St. Marks Wildlife Refuge. As well as the beautiful butterflies, we saw alligators and in the rock is a baby pigmy rattlesnake.
Beautiful shots. Yes these are the 'WONDERFUL' simple pleasures EVERYONE should take time to enjoy.
Thanks, The butterfly must know where it is going, but I always wonder how it knows because it never appears to have any direction. I love to watch them and see the beautiful designs God had placed there,
So that is where all our butterflies are...I know they do migrate south. I sure have missed them but it is way too cold here for them to survive. I am amazed how far they travel. Looks like you had a wonderful day!
Hi Elizabeth... Ack! It *has* been awhile since I commented here and I'm sorry about that. Really, I have visited here, but I just haven't said anything (which I should have). You always leave such encouraging comments at my blog and I do appreciate them so much! So I do thank you for that and for giving us all peeks into your life here at your blog, ones which are uplifting to behold! Hugs, Debra
We have an alligator living not far from our house, that's Florida for you isn't it?
