Decorations are coming down ! ! !

I have always dreaded having to take down the Christmas decorations,it seemed so sad that all the celebrating was over. I usually take them down the day after New Years Day, although one year I did leave them up until the end of January. This year is so different, I enjoyed Christmas with my family it was wonderful, but this year I am so ready to get my new home ready for the New Year and what it holds for us! Happy New Year!     It must be exciting having that new home to decorate. I'm hanging on to some of the Christmas decorations until January 6th, but I've put up a few New Year decorations here at my house too. They aren't new and neither is my house, but I always switch out the tablecloth and the centerpiece for the season, so right now I have a lovely gold table cloth and some gold candles too. Happy New Year!

    I hear you. I totally de-Christmased today and love the feeling of all the clean uncluttered space.
