I thought I was the only one who had this let down after the holidays but today on the morning show I discovered that this is normal and a lot of people have it. I think I feel better just knowing that it is normal and not just me.
I have always had this,as long as i can remember. This year it has been pretty bad.
I have learned in the past to have things planned to do in January, often taking a trip in January. Do any of you have this? If so how do you deal with it?
This year I have my youngest grand child to care for while his mom and dad work and this has really made a difference for me. The seasonal lack of sun light usually makes some blah days for me, but so far this year I've really noticed the difference. I hope your Monday is a wonderful one.
ReplyDeleteI think this is indeed common and I feel it also and the only thing I can do is keep myself busy! Cleaning, crafting, long naps, old movies that inspire me. Hope this helps friend, Pearl
ReplyDeleteThanks "ma" and Pearl. Staying busy does help!
ReplyDeleteHi, Elizabeth,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. It can be common to have the blues after holidays especially one like Christmas where there has been so much planning and anticipation. Personally, I'm usually in good spirits - ready to get the house back to normal and so forth.
Wishing you a blessed New Year!
Thanks Melanie,I plan to get busy getting my decorations down this week, have my New year calendar and starting to make plans for the year!
