Enjoying the New Year and a cold day !

It has been a good week of the new year. Decorations are put away except for the poinsettias and tree. I am still enjoying the tree so think I will keep it up a few more days. It was 24 degrees this morning at 6:30 when I took Granddaughter to school and has only warmed up to 40, but it is a beautiful sunny day !

  1. Brr. My mother in law heads back to Florida tomorrow, from visiting us and my husband's brother's family here in Pennsylvania.

She'll be ready for the cold I guess!

  6. It's been hovering around zero here for a couple of days now. And we have snow to deal with too. My house is almost back to normal but still have some sorting out to do in the storage area of the basement. I'd like to organize the decorations better than they were. It seems really cold for Florida, hope you warm up soon.

  7. We've had some cold weather in Ark., but we've also had a lot of rainy days. The cold doesn't seem to bother me as much when the sun is shining. My tree stayed up longer this year. It just seemed like such a short time between T'giving & Christmas this year that I wasn't ready to take it down. I'm with you. Leave it up until you are tired of it.

  8. It looks like everyoe had a good time. Fellowship and playing is a lot of fun. We love the water and boats, but alas the time has past.
Take care and enjoy the boating world...
