Feeling thankful and blessed !

It was a wonderful day of Thanksgiving yesterday. We had dinner at 5:00 in the afternoon, rather than noon as we usually do, since my daughter, a police officer was on duty until 4:00. There were 14 of us including my twin brothers,ones girlfriend, daughter, son-in law ( also a police officer) my 4 grandchildren and neighbors who are like family. I had thought of going shopping this morning but since it is 30 degrees and I am a little tired from all the cooking and cleaning this past week, I decided to stay home. There will be more sales! So I am staying home warm and cozy reflecting on the wonderful day of yesterday. I love having my loved ones together under the same roof. I am so thankful for them!

    It sounds like you had a wonderful and safe (police officers) Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. :-) Hope you can relax and enjoy the weekend with a little slower pace.

      Oh yes, I do feel safe, the neighbor who joined us is a State Trooper also !

    Ah ha! nothing like a Good SAFE meal, having someone to day grace and a couple LEO's to watch your back. SWEET.

    It sounds like it was a wonderful day. I ventured out but only for a mnute, I am not a bg Black Friday shopper.

    Having loved ones together sharing a meal is wonderful. I love this time of year when we get special reasons to gather together.
