Boats, Antiques, and Bok Tower OH MY

We are back! It was our" International Classic boat Rally" at Lake Wales,Fl.

which was very nice but also visiting historic lake wales with its lovely restaurants and antiques(there was an antique show on the streets saturday that I attended.) A friend and I spent one afternoon at Bok Tower which was wonderful, the gardens were beautiful as well as the music. We sat in the quite beautiful gardens listening to the concert of bells. It was such a beautiful and peaceful place. On the way home I stopped at several antique stores and cracker barrels, who were having 70% off porch sales,so ofcourse I could not pass one up.

  3. Elizabeth, Welcome back. I have never heard of Bok Tower. It looks like a place i would like to visit, especially listening to the concert of bells and sitting in a peaceful garden..sigh..My car stops at any store that even remotley resembles antiques and A cracker barrel is one of my favorite places. Is a classic boat rally like a classic car show? It looks like you had a grand time. Dee

Yes Dee, Our classic boat meets are like classic car shows.
We formed this club 4 years ago with 2 other couples who had boats from the 60's, we have now grown to over 50 members from several states and Countries. We get together several times a year and show and play with our boats.

  6. Beautiful pictures! We haven't been to Bok Tower in a coon's age. Good thing I didn't know about those sales. I'm trying so hard to save up for a new camera.

I wouldn't mind a car like the one by the Glasspar! I like my cars small and low. Ü

    Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^
