Revealing of Stephanie's Teacup and mug exchange

This is the lovely package sent to me by Margaret. She really spoiled me by sending me a teacup snack set and a Canada mug along with other goodies. I am so glad to have made a new friend in her!

This is the mug that I received from Oliva. It is a cheers mug from Boston. She included a variety of coffees and other gifts. I am happy to have a new friend in her!

A beautiful weekend the Lord gave us !

We had a wonderful Spring weekend! The temperature was in the 50's at night and sunny 70's in the day time. We had weekend guest, Jim's bother and Sister-in-law. We went out for breakfast on Saturday morning, then to the city for some shopping and my Grandson's 2 soccer games in the afternoon and then to a seafood restaurant for catfish for dinner. Sunday morning I made a country breakfast at home and we rode out to the beach. It was a lovely day for the beach not hot but sunny and pleasant! The white sand, blue water and blue sky were beautiful and relaxing! Such a beautiful world the Lord has given us to enjoy!

A sad day !

Last night Ellie passed away. She was 11 years old and that is about the expected life for a Cavilier King Charles Spaniel. She was a wonderful part of our family and I will miss her very much. I am thankful that she went peacefully, did not suffer or have to be put down. I already miss her following me from room to room and getting in my lap to cuddle everytime I sit down.
