What a difference a day makes !

Yesterday was like a beautiful summer day, near 80 degrees. I even pulled out my lounge chair and basked in the sun for an hour or so, very unusual for January in N. Florida! When I was younger i would some time start working on my tan in late February, but never January! Today it is in the 60's with a very strong wind that makes it seem much colder, I could not even enjoy my coffee on the patio, it was too cold! We were even able to have breakfast out on the patio yesterday! Whats up with this weather?

Back to normal !

Jim went back to work today, I am getting the Christmas decorations down and put away, after highs in the 80's this week, the weather man says more seasonal temps are on the way so I think life around here is returning to normal. I feel a calmness in my spirit that I had not had the last few weeks,thank you to all who have been praying for us.

I was able to bring Jim home today. He is doing better and Dr. said he could recuperate at home, has to stay on oxygen 24 hrs. a day for the next week. I read him all the comments and well wishes and we both appreciate it very much. We have no doubt that the prayers are what helped him recover so quickly. The Dr. told us he would probably be there 2 weeks but he was well enough to come home in 4 days.

Everyone please be in prayer for my Jim, he was hospitalized with pneumonia yesterday, with his severe COPD it is very serious. I just came home long enough to take shower and will be back at the hospital with him. Thanks, Elizabeth

Happy New Year ! ! !

We spent New Years Eve at home with a dinner of ribeyes,sweet potatoes,peas and garlic cheese biscuits. Today I did the traditional black eye peas as well as pork roast with cabbage and cornbread. I am looking forward to this being a wonderful year!
