Plates and Dinner out ! Life is good !

Well I have not found the "Easter Plates" I wanted, but I did find these! I had 2 and now I have 6 more so I can mix them with the other 4 "Easter Plates" I am happy!

Saturday night we went to Don Shulas Restaurant and used the generous gift certificate we were given at Christmas. It was a wonderful evening from the valet parking to the creme brulee for dessert!

Valentine Dinner

We are going out to Shula's Steak house this weekend for our Valentine Dinner, so tonight I made one of hubbys favorite meals smother fried porkchops,rice & gravy, baked sweet potato and heart shaped pineapple upside down cake.

Valentine Tea Party

Today we had our Valentine Tea. I had all 4 of my Grandchildren here and 2 of their friends. We had cucumber sandwiches, pimento cheese sandwiches,cherry cupcakes with chocolate buttercream icing, pink lemonade and tea. We then made homemade valentines. It was a good day!

Thanks to my Grandson Tyler, I now have new flower beds. I should have done a before and after, what a difference!

I fell in love !

I found the beautiful plates at Big Lots this weekend.The second I saw them I knew I had to have them, don't they just scream spring and it does not hurt that pink and green are my favorite colors together. I searched the store for more,there were only 4. When I could not find more,I drove 50 miles to another Big Lots to see if they had any,they didn't. I will keep looking, I would love to have enough to use these on Easter but if I do not find more,I will enjoy these.I have them on my table now,I just love looking at them!I just love these plates!

It was a dress-up Tea Party !

The girls had such a good time at there Tea party with Strawberry shortcake made with strawberries fresh off the vines. They dressed up like princesses. I am so glad they enjoy Tea parties as much as their (Mawmaw)
