Thank God for his protection !

I have to share this with all my blogging friends. A few nights ago my daughter who is a police officer was patroling when for no apparent reason, it was not storming not even raining when a huge tree fell on her car right over the driver side, she was trapped in the car for awhile as power lines were down all around her car and the tree had to be removed in sections, she very calmly called in the incident on her radio, other officers including her husband could not understand how she was so calm on the radio, they have replayed the tape several times and everyone is amazed that her voice sounds so normal. I pray for each of my family members every day and ask for God's protection over them. I knew from the night that this happened that Gods hand was over her, she had no injuries at all! I knew there had to be a reason this happened but had no idea until today when my daughter and I were talking and she told me that the night it happened they were going to be doing traffic stops, I now believe that this is the reason the tree fell on her car at that exact time but did not harm her at all,she was being protected from making a stop that could have been very dangerous. This was also why she was so calm,God was with her in that car that night.Thank you God!

  2. She (and your family) are so VERY fortunate that you had God's protection for this incident....it could have been SO VERY, VERY sad otherwise.
Good for her, for keeping her wits about her.

  4. WOW, that is also one big tree. Calm under the circumstances, is VERY commendable. And to not be storming, what a predicament, glad there was no physical damage.
